Record Price for Heroine Photo

A rare negative of legendary Hollywood movie star Marilyn Monroe had sold for record price in an auction in Wiltshire, England.  The black and white image, taken by agency photographer Joseph Jasgur in 1946, is believed to have been shot during her first ever modeling gig at Zuma Beach in California.

At the time the image was captured, the future film star was the unknown and trying to get opportunities in modeling. The picture, along with the negative and copyright, was sold for £4,250(Approximately 4 lakhs). It had been expected to fetch between £5,000 and £8,000. Despite the lower figure, auctioneer Andrew Aldridge said he was "quite happy" with the result.

Marilyn Monroe who rocked Hollywood had committed suicide after series of false incident in her personnel life. But she still renowned as one of the most beautiful women.
