Record Price for Shankar's Manoharudu Rights

Vikram-Shankar's magnum opus 'Manoharudu' has been the hot topic in the Southern Film Industry ever since makers showed the 50-second spectacular promo to selective media persons in Chennai few days ago.

Telugu theatrical rights of 'Manoharudu' has been bagged by Producer NV Prasad of Super Good Films for a whooping Rs 30 crores which is a new record for a dubbing flick. Which means, The film surpassed the price offered to Shankar's previous blockbuster 'Robo' (Rs 27 crore).

Producer Aascar Ravinchandran has been planning the audio launch of 'Manoharudu' in a grand manner. It is learnt the Rs 7 crore has been spent for the audio function alone.

'Manoharudu' will be released as Diwali special on October 22nd this year. This film is gonna revive Vikram's career for sure.
