On the first day of the shoot for 'Nethone Dance', Renu Desai asked the Management to arrange an Ambulance for her as a precautionary measure as she feared a heart stroke could happen at any moment due to the tension she has been going through. Team Members assured the former Actress that everything will be fine and she calmed down a bit after some time.

Renu Desai feels the life of a single parent is never gonna be easy. It's because of the atrocities against children in the society, She would prefer leaving the kids at school all by herself.

Sometime ago, Renu fell sick and she used to suffer fever frequently. Doctors have informed her that it's Ortho-Immune Condition, a heart-related ailment. It took her a lot of time to recover from the illness. 'Children were most affected because of my condition as I was bedridden. One Day, Aadhya arrived from School and tried to wake me up. I was in deep sleep because of the medication. She got scared as I remained unconscious and began crying. When I woke up, She fell on my lap and said 'Please Mummy…You Don't Die'. It's a heart-breaking moment for Me. I controlled My Tears and promised her that I won't go anywhere,' she disclosed.

Then, Renu asked Aadhya: 'Why do you think I would die? Who will take care of you and your children if I passed away? Pray to the god for my well-being'.

Akira Nandan used to take care of Renu Desai during this period. He would ask Renu whether she took her medicine and remember her the days of hospital visit. He would also look after his sister Aadhya and made her feel better.
