Maverick film Ram Gopal Varma who once made masterpieces like Shiva, Kshana Kshanam, and Satya is surprising everyone by making films that do not meet his standards. Even his hardcore supporters have no answer to this. One more aspect of RGV that surprises others is his nature.

No one can say how he responds to issues and how he sees things. On many occasions, he said that saying RIP to a person who is dead is not good as it only kills his/her peace. He openly said that he doesn't follow or endorse the practice of paying tributes to dead persons.

As a surprise to one and all Ram Gopal Varma had surprised everyone by breaking his rule as he paid tributes to a person. He paid his tribute to none other than Kannada Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar. The Satya director RGV made his way into the memorial of Puneeth and paid tributes to him.

RGV was accompanied by Apsara Rani and Naina Ganguly during his visit. After this, RGV visited the memorials of Peneeth's mother and father Parvathamma, and legendary actor DR. S. Rajkumar in Bengaluru. After paying tributes to them, RGV had a brief interaction with Puneeth's family.

Ram Gopal Varma met Raghavendra Rajkumar, Puneeth's brother. RGV had earlier worked with Puneeth's elder brother Shiva Rajkumar aka Shivanna in Killing Veerappan. The film has a personal connection to the family as Kannada Kanteerava DR. S Rajkumar, the torchbearer of the family was kidnapped by Veerappan for money.
