Director Ram Gopal Varma is known for his eccentric nature. He often claims that he makes films for himself and people can watch it if they want to or ignore them. He does films mostly on controversial subjects and his upcoming film 'Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu' is no different. The title itself suggests how the film is going to be and its trailers and songs ignited a lot of political debate. This film is expected to release on 29th November but the ongoing court case may lead to postponement as per reports.
Meanwhile, there is a lot of criticism on Varma regarding the film's characters and some are accusing him of showing Pawan, Chandra Babu and Lokesh in poor light. But Varma claims that his characters are not based on real-life politicians and especially not those three.
He stated that this type of criticism and accusations doesn't concern him and revealed an interesting fact about him. RGV claimed that many people come to him asking for No Objection Certificate (NOC) in Mumbai and he readily gives it to them. So, he doesn't mind what they write about him and he added that he doesn't care even if they don't take those certificates. This is becoming a topic of discussion among industry circles. But the question is, do people really go to RGV for getting those certificates?
