The energetic and romantic hero of 70s and 80, Mr. Rishi Kapoor passed away on 30th April leaving his family and fans in a pool of tears. The entire Bollywood mourned over his death and people on social media expressed their condolences. Only 20 people attended the legendary actor's funeral as the lockdown denied them permission to have more people.
The star actor's tweet in 2017 is becoming viral now. When yesteryear star Vinod Khanna passed away, Rishi Kapoor expressed his disappointment about how his last rites were performed and how the younger generation did not show the actor enough respect. He tweeted, 'Shameful, Not one actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna's funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect.' He went on to add, 'Why this? Including mine and thereafter. When I die, I must be prepared. None will shoulder me. Very very angry with today's so-called stars.'
Sadly, his tweet became true as none of the stars were present at his funeral barring his family members. Though they wanted to pay respects to him, the Mumbai police did not give permission to have more than 20 people together during this Corona crisis time.
