Rajinikanth has a good following in Japan and his films see good collections there. His Muthu collected around JPY 400 million which remained the highest for any Indian film for around 20 years. Now RRR broke the record.

As Rajamouli became a popular name in Japan with the huge success of the Baahubali series, this might have worked well for RRR as movie lovers there expressed interest in watching the film. With good buzz and craze for the film, RRR is setting the box office on fire. RRR might even create new records in the long run.

RRR directed by Rajamouli tells us the fictional story of Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem played by Megapower star Ram Charan Tej and Young Tiger NTR respectively. The magnum opus had some breathtaking visuals.
