RRR's Audio Rights Sold For A Record-breaking price

Here comes the big update which speaks volumes about the craze and anticipation surrounding Rajamouli's action drama, RRR. The film's audio rights have been sold for a record-breaking price. Lahari Music and T Series Entertainments have bagged the all-India music rights of the film for a whopping price of Rs 25 crores. The audio rights of no other South Indian film have fetched such a humongous amount,

T Series holds the Hindi language audio rights of the film and Lahari Music holds the south Indian language audio rights of the Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer. The makers of RRR have issued a new statement to confirm the news about the audio rights.

Previously, Lahari music had bagged the audio rights of KGF2 for a price of Rs 7.2 crores. Now, they have paid the makers of RRR a sensational amount to bag the audio rights of the film. The fact that RRR has set a new record even with its audio rights shows the humongous craze and anticipation surrounding the periodic action thriller which is well and truly India's biggest action drama.

Meanwhile, RRR unit, including Ram Charan, Jr NTR and other lead actors are set to fly to Europe to film a song that will come at a crucial juncture in the film. This song will be shot on a massive scale and the majority of the shoot will be wrapped up with the Europe schedule. Post which, the unit will be returning to Hyderabad and commence the very last schedule.

The makers of RRR are also planning to release a special promotional song on the occasion of Independence Day - 1st August. This promotional song is said to have come up very well and it will mark the commencement of an extensive promotional campaign that is being planned by the unit.

It is known that RRR is slated for worldwide theatrical release on 13th October. The heavy-duty actioner features Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgan in the lead roles. DVV Entertainments are spending close to Rs 400 crores on the mega project. More details will be out in the days to follow.
