RRR Wasted Rs 10-15 Crores In One Month?

The makers of RRR need to be appreciated for their whirlwind promotional campaign through the course of December. Rajamouli, Jr NTR, Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt actively promoted the film for around 4 weeks but their efforts amounted to nothing as the film's release was postponed in the wake of the alarming rise in Covid cases all across India.

Now, we are hearing that team RRR had spent around Rs 10-15 crores on the promotions that were in motion all through December.

The paid and unpaid interviews, the mega events in Hyderabad, Chennai, and Mumbai, the aggressive promotional tours in Bengaluru and Kochi have all coosted the makers of RRR a whopping amount of money.

All in all, the makers of RRR are said to have spent in upwards of Rs 10-15 crores in the promotional tours they called for in the month of December.

The end point is that these promotional tours, which costed the makers close to Rs 10 -15 crores are now of very little use as the film's release got postponed. It appears to be that the amount spent on the event have gone in vain.

The new release date of RRR will be announced very soon and the unit will then have to kickstart the promotions all over again.
