Rs 30 crore offer for Superstar

The craze for the theatrical rights of Rajinikanth starrer 'Linga' seems to beyond anyone's expectations. Although the shooting of this movie began just few weeks ago, Producers and Distributors were competing to acquire the theatrical rights already by paying a bomb.

Reportedly, Rs 30 crore has been offered for the satellite rights of 'Linga' in Andhra Pradesh including Seemandhra & Telangana. Previous highest for Rajni was sci-fi flick 'Robo' which fetched Rs 27 crore and went on to collect a mammoth Rs 40 crore.

Sadly, Rajinikanth's motion-capture flick 'Vikram Simha' was a disaster in AP. However, There is huge competition for the dubbing rights of 'Linga' as its a film fans expect from Superstar and KS Ravikumar (Narasimha fame) who is known for his phenomenal track record is wielding the megaphone.

Apart from Sonakshi Sinha and Anushka, A Foreign Actress is also paired opposite Rajinikanth in the movie. Currently, The second schedule of the movie is progressing in Hyderabad at a brisk pace. Makers are planning for a release by the end of 2014.
