It has been a long time Sai Dharam Tej's 'Jawaan' was announced in the direction of BVS Ravi. Even though movie has been launched few months ago.. regular shoot didn't commence till now. As the regular shoot didn't start, there were several doubts on the materialization of the project.
Rumours started doing rounds in the media that the project got shelved. Coming to the present, director BVS Ravi has put a fullstop to all these rumours with an update. He has officially announced thrvough his FB page that the regular shoot of Mega hero film has been commenced. But he didn't reveal the reasons for the delay in commencement of regular shoot.
'Jawaan' is jointly produced by director Harish Shankar and Krishna. It is second directorial venture for writer turned director BVS Ravi. His debut film as a director was Gopichand starrer 'Wanted'.
On the other hand, film makers are saying that the movie is not related to military as the film title suggests.. the movie is about a common man in the society who takes up the responsibility like a soldier and fights the ills of the society.
