Bollywood star hero Saif Ali Khan talked his way into a big controversy and he is now finding it difficult to come out of it. Speaking about his negative role in Prabhas and Om Raut's upcoming film 'Adipurush', he said that they will be trying to showcase the human angle of Raavan. This statement did not go well with many Hindu associations as they fired on him.
Saif immediately issued an apology through social media and asked them not to take statements in the wrong way. Looks like it is not enough for some as a Civil Court advocate named Himanshu Srivastava filed a complaint against the film's director Om Raut and Saif Ali Khan. He claims that the comments made by Saif have hurt his religious sentiments.
He includes that Ram has always been referred to as a symbol of good and Raavan as the symbol of evil in 'Sanatana Dharma'. As a believer of it, he finds it hurtful that the makers are trying to add a positive and humane side to Raavan's character is unacceptable.
The case was filed in Jaunpur's Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate and the hearing will be on 23rd December. We need to wait and see how the makers respond to this. 'Adipurush' is expected to begin in 2021 and get released in 2022.
