Naga Chaitanya Akkineni took advantage of the festival weekend and released his movie Sailaja Reddy Alludu against the release 0f U-Turn starring his wife Samantha. It's been a week that Sailaja Reddy Alludu released and the film collected a distributor share of Rs 16.80 Cr worldwide. The movie opened to mixed talk from the audiences and critics but everyone liked the characterization of Naga Chaitanya.
As it is a holiday on the release day, the movie collected huge revenue at the box office which was completely unexpected. But, the film slowed down in the race of collections from the crucial Monday. Shockingly, the filmâs collections in the last two days were very low. The film has recovered almost 75 percent of the investment but the movie needs to be picked up during the current weekend for putting the buyers in a safe zone.
