Indian films have been receiving wide appreciation from the international audience for the past few years.  Especially Aamir Khan films have opened a new market for Indian films in China.  With the steady increase in the market for his films, Aamir became one of the biggest Indian stars in China.  We can understand his craze, as his 'Secret Superstar' collected more in China than India.

Another Bollywood superstar Salman Khan also started exploring Chinese market now.  Salman's 2015 blockbuster 'Bhajrangi Bhaijaan' dubbing version released in China exactly a month ago and the movie created nothing short of a sensation.   Popular trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted today that "#BajrangiBhaijaan nears  Rs.300 cr mark in China... Total after Weekend 5 [till 1 April 2018]: $ 45.42 million [Rs.295.32 cr]... EXCELLENT!".

'Bhajrangi Bhaijaan' is slowly inching towards Rs.300 crore mark in China.  It is to be remembered that 'Bhajrangi Bhaijaan' collected Rs.320 crores in India and the movie repeated the same feat in China. The success of 'Bhajarangi Bhaijaan' proves once again that good content and emotional connect will have universal appeal.  'Bhajrangi Bhaijaan' was directed by Kabir Khan and KV Vijayendra Prasad provided the story.
