Stars from all the Industries competed to be part of the remake in their respective language. While Ram Charan signed Telugu remake, Salman Khan gave his nod for the Hindi version.

Sources say, Akshay Kumar or Ajay Devagan might play the lead in 'Thani Oruvan' Hindi remake.
Telugu remake titled as 'Rakshak' will go on floors in February this year. Ram Charan-Rakul Preet Singh join hands again. Arvind Swamy does the same role he played in the original. Surender Reddy wants to bounce back strongly this time.
