Samantha was deeply pained by the natural calamity which affected the residents of Chennai very badly in the past few weeks. She gets very emotional with the very mention of Chennai floods because her own family and close relatives were victims of the nature's fury.
In fact, Samantha couldn't even get in touch with her parents for three days and the poor network made things worse. She says many of her relatives who got stuck suffered due to lack of food and water. She claims to be feeling so guilty for not being able to help her.
Stating that she was proud to be Chennaiite, Samantha promised to everything that was required from her to help the needy in the crisis. She urges people to voluntarily take part in the rescue and relief operations.
Samantha have two films in Tollywood and four projects in Kollywood at the moment. Her call sheets were full for entire first half of 2016.
