Sandeep Reddy Vanga became popular with his debut movie 'Arjun Reddy' which became the biggest blockbuster. Now, the director is currently busy helming the Hindi remake version of the same film.
Titled as 'Kabir Singh', Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani played the lead roles in this movie. Talking about the remake version, ''Both Telangana culture and Punjabi culture have some similarities. Especially, both people love to do parties when they are happy. Loud expressions and emotions are common in both Punjabi as well as Telangana cultures. So, it has become easy for me to change Arjun Reddy plot to Punjabi Kabir Singh'' said Sandeep. The director has claimed that initially, the producers of the movie tried to rope in Arjun Kapoor for the lead role but he has always thought of Shahid Kapoor playing the role and Shahif has delivered his best performance in the film. Talking about Kiara Advani, "She is a professional actress and went under the skin of the character" said Sandeep.
Clarifying rumors about his next movie with Mahesh Babu, the director stated that he has narrated the script to Mahesh and is awaiting his response. He added that he has been working on a crime drama for his next and the script of it will impress both Bollywood as well as Tollywood audience.
