Bollywood veteran actor Sanjay Dutt, who has been diagnosed with stage four lung cancer, and has completed the first round of chemotherapy, resumed work on Tuesday.

According to reports, Sanjay has wrapped up his portions for YRF's Shamshera, directed by Karan Malhotra. Reports revealed that it was a simple patchwork shoot for the film and the ace actor just had two days of portion left which he has finished now.

On August 11, Sanjay posted a note on social media stating that he plans to take a short break from films for some medical treatment. But surprising everyone, Sanju made his presence at the film shooting. According to reports, Sanju has been granted a five-year US visa for medical treatment but is currently undergoing treatment at a city hospital.

Shamshera stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor in the lead roles. The film was originally set to hit screens in July but it will now release in theatres next year.
