Bollywood ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali was thrashed by activists of an organization when shooting of his next flick 'Padmavati' happened at Jaipur.
Members if Karni Sena, an organization, staged protest at the shooting spot alleging Makers had distorted historical facts. Not stopping at there, Protesters had slapped and beaten up Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Some of them even pulled his hair.
Following this unpleasant incident, The shooting of 'Padmavati' was stalled. Sanjay Leela Bhansali decided not to continue the shoot of historical subject at the Jaigarh Fort in Jaipur any more.
In 'Padmavati', Deepika Padukone will be seen as Queen Padmavati. While Ranveer Singh does the role of Alauddin Khilji, Shahid Kapoor appears as Ratan Singh.
