The Crime Branch police have stepped in to crack down the Kannada film industry connections with the drug mafia. South actress Sanjjanaa Galrani is also facing the allegations after her assistant Rahul got arrested with the drug claims.
After this incident, the actress got several calls from journalists to talk about the ongoing drug scandal in the industry.
Responding on this, she said, "The film industry has to encash on attacking only on heroines thinking we heroines are week & dumb."
She further said a phrase her parents taught her when she was young, "If the dog on the street is barking on you, don't remove your clothes and bark back at the dog, learn to ignore it and move on."
"I do not want to reply to any of them and I don't have to prove myself or my success. I know I am not Aishwarya Rai but as Sanjjanaa Galrani I have made my name and made my followers," she added.
