Santosh Sivan is generally a reserved person but he has recently showered praise on Mahesh Babu. He said that "Mahesh Babu is always fun during the shoot, before the shoot, after the shoot too! He has got fantastic Radiance which keeps the people surrounding him happy. I like Mahesh Babu's subtle, clean acting. You don't have to do much to make him look good on screen."
While speaking about Mahesh Babu's attitude, he said that "We had a lot of night shoots but he was very patient and encouraging. In case of bilinguals, the actors will be fluent in one language and the other language will be a problem, but Mahesh is fluent in both the languages. Spyder was an exciting journey for me."
