The choice of Winners by Jury at a recent Awards Ceremony has stunned everybody. 'Saptagiri Express' which marked the launch of Comedian Saptagiri as Hero bagged the Top Honours.
In the 'Small-Budget Films' Category, Pelli Choopulu, Kshanam, Jayammu Nischayammu Ra and Saptagiri Express were nominated. Movie Buffs were really surprised to see 'Saptagiri Express' receive the nomination. What came as a shock is presenting this Award to this Saptagiri-starrer.
Shockingly, Pelli Choopulu managed to receive only one award. That too a Jury Award for Vijay Devarakonda. While Priyadarsi is the people's choice for his remarkable performance in 'Pelli Choopulu', It's Pruthvi who was presented the Best Comedian award. Even the Best Director award was offered to Kalyan Krishna of 'Soggade Chinni Nayana' fame instead of 'Pelli Choopulu' maker Tharun Bhaskar.
