Sardaar Gabbar Singh Nizam Rights cost a bomb

If the buzz is to be believed, Rs 23 crore has been quoted as the price for Theatrical Rights of 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh'. Inspite of the hefty price tag, A lot of leading distributors were in race to acquire the rights of this Summer 2016 release.

Earlier, Pawan Kalyan's 'Atharintiki Daredi' collected a share of close to Rs 25 crore in Nizam territory. None of his other films managed to reach the mark and only 'Baahubali - The Beginning' crossed the Rs 25 crore mark here till date. If the rights were sold out for Rs 23 crore, 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' have to collect a share of at least Rs 25 crore in Nizam alone.

Sources say, Eros International already acquired 'Sardaar Gabbar Singh' theatrical rights for a whooping price (Rs 64 - 70 crore). April 8th could be the release date of this action entertainer directed by 'Power' fame Bobby. There is tremendous buzz around the movie and hence the craze for distribution rights.
