'Kshanam' is one of the super hits of 2016. Made on a shoestring budget, the movie achieved a sensational success at the box office. Tamil remake rights of the film were acquired by Sathyaraj's son Sibiraj. The movie has been remade into Tamil with the title 'Sathya' and it is getting ready for the release on December 8.
During the promotions of the 'Sathya', Sathyaraj revealed interesting things. He said that "When I was in 'Baahubali' shoot, my son called me up and asked me to enquire about 'Kshanam' movie. Prabhas was there with me at that time, so I asked him about the film. Prabhas told me that it is a very good film and assured that remake rights can be purchased. As Prabhas confidently told about the film, I told my son to acquire the remake rights."
Sathyaraj said that when they were thinking about the director for the remake, Vijay Antony called him up and suggested Pradeep Krishnamurthy(director of Saithan- Betaludu in Telugu) name. Sathyaraj said that the output came out very well and it will surely impress the audience.
