It is known that Megastar Chiranjeevi has shown interest in working on the remake of 'Lucifer'. It was said that young director Sujeeth will be handling this remake but it finally ended up in the hands of remake specialist VV Vinayak. As Vinayak already made remakes like 'Tagore' and 'Khaidi No 150' with Chiru, he was given the chance again. NV Prasad will be producing this film and sources suggest that the script has finally been locked.
The narration was given to Megastar and it includes all the inputs given by Chiru. Though Bobby's project and âVedalamâ remake with Meher Ramesh are on the cards, Chiru will be starting 'Lucifer' remake first. This project is expected to go on floors as soon as 'Acharya' gets released i.e during the summer season of 2021.
As usual, Konidela Productions banner will co-produce it with NV Prasad. There are two key roles in this film. While one is a negative role, the other one is the role of CM's son. The details of the actors are not yet revealed as there is still a lot of time left.
