60C Loss For Mersal

Tamil film Mersal that released during Diwali this year has become the talk of the town during the release time. The GST controversy in the movie has gone viral and the nation attracted towards the movie. The film has become a huge hit at the box office and the same was repeated when it released in Telugu with the title Adirindhi.

The buzz is that the film entered the 200 crore club and the movie minted a total revenue of 250 crore rupees at the box office. Even after the film collecting huge revenues, it ended as a loss and this is being revealed by popular actor cum BJP leader S V Sekhar. The BJP leader revealed a couple of inside insights about the movie. SV Sekhar told that Vijay took a huge remuneration for the movie and added that the film's director Atlee Kumar also charged 13 crores as a remuneration for the project who took 3 crores for his previous movie.

The actor alleged that Mersal is a budget failure and estimated that the makers have encountered losses close to 60 crore rupees. This is something that no one expected and we have to see if the makers confirm the same.
