Selvaraghavan is one of the few Tamil directors who make different and peculiar films. Some of his films are wonderful but some other films make us mad. '7/G Brindavana Colony'.. 'Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule' films give us a good feeling but films like 'Varna' make audience go crazy. He took long gap after 'Varna' and came up with a horror thriller 'Nenjam Marapputhillai'. Director turned actor SJ Suryah is the hero of this film. Regina Cassandra, Nandita Shweta of 'Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada' fame are the heroines.

Audience who watched the promos got a feeling that the movie will be either wonderful or absurd. This is no different from the earlier teaser, trailers. Even after watching the trailer, nobody could understand the concept of the film.. or they couldn't even guess how the movie is going to be. Selva has shows the lead characters differently Regina is praying.. SJ Suryah goes in to a room and comes back with a different look carrying a guitar.. Nandita Shweta appears taking drugs.
He has shown two captions 'Devil knows everything except the end'.. 'God knows only end'. Nobody could understand what he is trying to convey with those captions. One will get a feeling that he is going to test the patience of the audience with this kind of things. Producers are planning to release the film in Telugu if the Tamil version gets good response.
