Back in the 70's ad 80's, heroes used to make films at a very rapid pace without giving prominence to hits and flops. But the times have changed now and young and happening heroes are also taking a lot of gap between films. We get a star hero once in a year and it is a surprise when a hero releases two films in a single year.
But senior heroes in South India like Rajnikanth and Chiranjeevi are defying age and making films in jet speed. Rajni at the age of 69 is making sure that he releases two films per year. He is accepting films very quickly and working on them without taking any rest. He used to work only with senior star directors in the past but he changed his style and started working with young directors like Karthik Subbaraj, Murugadoss, and Shiva.
Chiranjeevi is also following the same speed. After his return, he worked with star directors like VV Vinayak and Surender Reddy. But the news is that he is interested in working with young directors if they impress him. He said that he is in talks with directors like Sujeeth, Bobby and Meher Ramesh. Currently, he is working with star director Koratala Siva for a social drama titled 'Acharya'in which Ram Charan plays a brief role.
