Director Shankar Shanmugam, who is considered as one of the top filmmakers in this country has been in the news recently for some wrong reasons. The rumours about a non-bailable warrant on him went viral on the internet. Going into the details, Shankar claimed that he was shocked to hear the news about a non-bailable warrant in Egmore Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Chennai.
When his lawyer contacted the court, they reportedly said that it was due to a problem in the online court and rectified it immediately. Shankar asked media not spread any such false rumours.
