2.0 is Not The Sequel of Robo

Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming movie 2.0 under the direction of Shankar is undoubtedly one of the most awaited movies in Tollywood right now. As the previous movie Robo which came out in this combination became a blockbuster and created so many records, the expectations are 2.0 are skyhigh. Recently, Director Shankar clarified about the rumours that are spreading about the movie. He stated that 2.0 is not at all the sequel of Robo. The characters that appeared in Robo might also be a part of 2.0, but the movie is not related to Robo.

This versatile director has claimed that it took him so many days to complete the script and 2.0 story does not start where the Robo movie ended. Initially a rumour came out that Hollywood hero Arnold Schwarzenegger is playing the antagonist role in the movie. Director Shankar has already approached him and narrated the script but the role was played by Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar.

Director Shankar gave a clarity that the it is true that they approached Arnold for the role. As the audience from anywhere of the world can connect easily, they preferred Arnold for the role, but things didn't go well. Shankar added that 2.0 will be like a Hollywood movie but not completely.
