Update: 2022-06-07 09:21 GMT
Krishna Chaitanya started his career as a lyricist and wrote many hit songs. After making a name for himself in the film industry, he turned into a director with 'Rowdy Fellow'. He proved his caliber right with his first directorial and grabbed the attention of some bigwigs in Tollywood.

He directed Nithiin for a film titled 'Chal Mohan Ranga' which earned him a lot of good reputation. We can assess the talent of Krishna Chaitanya when big names like Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram come forward to produce a movie with him as the director.

Now, he is gearing up to take his third film onto the sets. Reports suggest that he is teaming up with versatile actor Sharwanand. The 'Run Raja Run' hero will be presented in a never-seen-before energetic role in this film and sources claim that Raashi Khanna along with Priyamani are roped in as the female leads in this project.

Sharwanand who is suffering from successive flops in recent times is adamant about giving a strong comeback. After listening to a lot of scripts, he gave a green signal to Krishna Chaitanya's film as the concept excited him very much. Talk in tinsel town suggests that the popular production banner 'People Media Factory' is going to bankroll this project. The official announcement regarding Sharwanand and Krishna Chaitanya's film is expected to come out very soon. News is that star music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja will be making his comeback to Telugu cinema after a long gap with this project.

Yuvan previously composed hit albums for Telugu films like 'Oy!', 'Panja', 'Raju Bhai', 'Govindhudu Andarivaadele' and others. Unfortunately, he got a long gap in Tollywood whilst he still churned out blockbuster songs in Tamil. He is waiting for the right script to make his comeback into Telugu cinema but nothing excited him till date.

Grapevine suggests that he immediately agreed to Krishna Chaitanya's film after getting impressed by the script. Yuvan is currently busy with around a dozen films in Tamil but he still accepted Sharwa-Krishna Chaitanya's film as it excited him very much.

After getting a very good name as a director with his first two films, Krishna Chaitanya is ready to prove his strength with Sharwanand's film. His movie with Nithiin titled 'Power Petta' will be going on floors once Sharwa's project gets wrapped up.

As Nithiin is busy with other commitments and 'Power Petta' needs a huge budget and a lot of technical finesse, he seems to have kept it on hold for this moment and it is going to start once Nithiin and Krishna Chaitanya become free of their present engagements.
