Sometimes celebrities get trolled by netizens for their funny mistakes on social media. Usually, these kinds of incidents happen when they address their fans and followers on their social media platforms when greeting them on special occasions or festivals.
India has celebrated 72nd Republic Day on Tuesday and many celebrities across the country greeted the people on the occasion. Bollywood actress and yoga enthusiast Shilpa Shetty Kundra made a goof-up while wishing her fans. She penned a note in Hindi and looked like the actress mixed up Republic Day with Independence day and wrote 'swatantra' (Freedom) in her tweet. The tweet, in which she used the word 'swatantra', instead of 'gantantra' (republic), went viral in no time.
Not just Shilpa, B-town beauty Taapsee Pannu made a similar mistake that she wished the fans for 71st Republic Day instead of 72nd. She tweeted, "On 71st Republic Day hereâs wishing and hoping that we all read and understand our constitution as much as we celebrate it. Will help us be more patriotic than what we actually are. Jai Hind."
Although the actress later corrected her tweet, the trolls showed no mercy in calling out the confusion of Taapsee. Both the actresses are facing the heat on social media for their silly mistakes.
