After the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, many issues came up for discussion. His death has been a major discussion on social media as one section of netizens fire on Bollywood biggies for encouraging nepotism. Netizens have been spreading hatred on people like Karan Johar and Salman Khan for linking Sushant's death to nepotism.
On the other hand, people like Ram Gopal Varma spoke in favour of nepotism asking what's wrong in promoting their heirs.
However, Sultry actress Shraddha Das took to twitter to speak on this and put a counter to people who support this.
"Fed up of seeing the nepotism debates & even more so seeing people say that in every field it is the same, parents pass it on. So if my parents were doctors or engineers, would i straight away become one without studying or clearing an exam?!" she tweeted.
Later she added "Without a backgd,u have to give 1000s of auditions for getting 1 minuscule role in a movie which gets reduced further & not even promoted while d person wit a background gets it straight away & is provided with an army of the best staff from day 1. Just accept d privilege u got, simple!"
"&about big film-makers who argue on this, most people with no bkgrd know it is next to impossible and very difficult to even contact or reach out to them or even get an opportunity to audition for their movies, while d ones with a background get a red carpet welcome from day," she wrote
"Everyone does get an opportunity, somewhere or the other, the difference is only in the level of difficulty in the journey to get the first break and the journey post that!" Shraddha added.
