Star actress Shruti Hassan who had two big releases this Sankranti season has fallen ill due to a viral fever after attending the pre-release event of 'Veera Simha Reddy' in Ongole. Even Chiranjeevi confirmed that she got viral fever which is why she couldn't attend the event of 'Waltair Veerayya'. But it looks like a few websites are spreading fake news regarding this.
They are churning out articles claiming that Shruti has mental problems and is taking treatment for it. The 'Gabbar Singh' actress decided to give a strong reply as she took to social media and posted the links that spread the fake news. Apart from that she wrote, "Ok, so here's the thing. Misinformation like this and the over dramatization or flippant handling of such subjects is what makes people afraid to talk about mental health."
She further added, "Guess what? It doesn't work. I will always be a mental health advocate. I will always promote taking care of myself in all aspects. Oh andâ¦I had a VIRAL FEVER. So, nice try! Get over yourselves and while you're at it, Please talk to a therapist. No really, Please do."
Shruti's tweet is getting a lot of attention and people are bashing the website for spreading the fake news. On the work front, Shruti Hassan had two releases this Sankranti and she is currently working on a pan-Indian project named 'Salaar'. Prabhas is the hero while Prasanth Neel is the director of it. This action drama will be hitting the big screens on 28th September 2023.
