Amidst all the hype and hungama, Natural Star Nani is arriving on 24th December with his period drama 'Shyam Singha Roy'. The pre-release event will be held in the next few days and fans are quite excited about this project. The teasers and songs which came out till date brought a good buzz to this movie and it is clear that 'Shyam Singha Roy' deals with a serious social issue back in the day.

Set in the backdrop of Kolkata, the concept of this film brought a lot of curiosity and sources say that it is getting fancy offers from distributors and streaming networks. If reports have anything to go by, the satellite rights of 'Shyam Singha Roy' were sold to Gemini TV for a whopping 10 crores. This is the highest prize for a Nani film till date and it explains the craze for this project. Highly talented Sai Pallavi and happening young actress Krithi Shetty are the heroines in this film directed by 'Taxiwaala' fame Rahul Sankrityan.

The pre-release event is going to be organized in Warangal on 14th December and people are eagerly waiting for the trailer. 'Premam' beauty Madonna Sebastian is playing a key role in this project which is produced under Niharika Entertainments banner. The three songs which came out till date got a good response and Mickey J Meyer is always considered as one of the highly talented yet underrated composers of Tollywood.

After this film, Nani will be coming with 'Ante Sundaraniki' which is directed by Vivek Athreya. Nazriya is the heroine in this movie which is bankrolled by the Mythri Movie Makers banner. Nani will be facing tough competition from 'Pushpa' which releases on 17th December and Ranveer Singh's '83' which comes on the same day.

Nani is in need of a big hit right now as his last few films like 'V', 'Tuck Jagadish' and others failed badly at the box office. These films were released on Amazon Prime Video and got a disaster talk. With 'Shyam Singha Roy' releasing in theatres, we need to wait and see if Nani gets his much-needed hit or not.
