Hero denied Bail, To face Interrogation!

Update: 2015-12-23 08:00 GMT
The Madras High Court turned down the appeal of Tamil actor Simbhu to order for a stay on police summons and grant him an anticipatory bail in connection with the controversial 'beep song'.

Simbhu's Counsel argued that there is no necessity to arrest his client and even custodial interrogation wasn't required as the leakage of beep song happened without his knowledge. While Prosecution informs court about the bad influence of beep song on the people, Women Lawyers Association opposed anticipatory bail for Simbhu.

Justice B Rajendran directed Police to prevent the telecast of beef song and impose restrictions on its usage on social media. Only relief Simbhu received was an extension of the date of personal appearance before Coimbatore Race Course Cops for questioning from January 2nd to January 5th.

The next hearing of the case will be on January 4th. High Court will remain closed for few days due to the Christmas and New Year eve.
