A mega Industry Hit like Baahubali franchise, did not just help the cast in front of the camera but many crew who worked hard within their own capacity for the film, have also registered similar kind of name and fame. Along with Prabhas, Anushka, Ramyakrishnan, M.M. Keeravani and S.S. Rajamouli even young singers like Kaalabhairava, Damini also got good enough name for their songs.
Damini who sang Pacchabottesina from the first part, shared her experience with the media. She said, "In 2014, I was selected for Super Singer but could not cross the preliminary round and was highly disappointed for losing such an opportunity. Thought of correcting my mistakes and waited for the next opportunity. I recorded all the songs I sang at SuperSigner auditions in a tape and sent it to famous music composers. I suddenly got a call from M.M. Keeravani's office and I was thrilled. I immediately said, Yes and I was asked to sing the song in Telugu and Tamil.
"It was easy for me to sing the song in Tamil but forTelugu version it took more time than usual. I was told that Ananth Sriram, lyricist, wrote the song for 72 days and may be I too took so much time. I was unsure if my rendition will be in the final mix as I was called to just sing the track. I was hoping my rendition would be liked by the composer and director for future opportunities but when I heard my voice, I was thrilled. Director Rajamouli was happy with my rendition and he wanted to go ahead with my voice rather than a senior singer. Many congratulated and few even said, Did Tamanna herself sing the song? For me that's the biggest compliment!" Now, the young talented singer is learning Western vocals at AR Rahman's K.M. Institute.
