So far, Only the titles of feature films have been embroiled in controversies. This trend is now spreading to Short Films as well. A Short Film 'Sita - I Am Not A Virgin' has made headlines now.

Prasanna lodged a complaint with Police against the Director Kaushik Babu, Producer and Actress Deepthi Sunaina who featured in the Short Film for hurting the sentiments of Hindus. 'The name of Sita has got a sanctity. Women were compared to Sita (God). So, Using such a tagline is objectionable. We willn't tolerate if the title and tagline wasn't changed by 12th March,' she warned.

Deepthi Sunaina who featured in the 'Sita - I Am Not A Virgin' is quite famous in the Youtube circuit. She has done several dubsmashes in the past. Dubsmash of 'Baahubali' holding a Dog on her shoulders in place of Shiva Linga has stirred a controversy then. Now, She is in news due to the controversial short film.

Director Kaushik Babu, however, refused to either change the title or tagline of his Short Film. 'Had if I choose Sita from Ramayana, I would have mentioned Sita Devi or Sita Amma. But, The character in my short film is no way related to Ramayana. Even I am a Hindu. I don't have any intention to hurt anyone. My Short Film is based on the challenges faced by a young girl in our society,' he clarifies.
