Shivaji Raja has been in the Industry for three decades. He was recently appointed as Movie Artiste Association (MAA) President unanimously.

In his recent interview, Shivaji Raja shared an incident which happened on the day Veteran Actor Ranganath had committed suicide. 'I share a close bonding with Ranganath garu. He was very upset when Uday Kiran killed himself. Such a person took the extreme step and It pained me a lot. Soon after knowing about his death, Me and Chiranjeevi garu went to his residence. As his house is far away from the city, We kept his mortal remains at MAA Office so that Industry folks will pay last respects.  Then, An influential Senior Actor who came there asked Me - Eyana Sevanni Ikkada Enduku Pettavu?. Then, I replied - Entra Annav? Ekkuva Matladithe Cheppu Tesukoni Kodatha,' discloses the Senior Actor.

Shivaji Raja believes that the influential person thought he brought the mortal remains of Ranganath to MAA Office just because he made me hero with 'Moguds Pellams'.
