Hero's Sister Candlelight March for Justice

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan is going to lead a candlelight march Tomorrow (October 14th) seeking justice for the 1984 anti-Sikh riots victims. Even Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee President and some prominent personalities will take part in the candle march. The candlelight march will begin from Rakabganj Gurudwara at 6 pm and concluded at India Gate by 7 pm.

Apparently, Soha Ali Khan's upcoming flick '31st October' is based on anti-Sikh riots in the year 1984 aftermath of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi's assassination. The film was embroiled in a controversy even before the release.

Petitions have been filed in the Courts seeking stall of '31st October' release saying the content of the flick is offensive and an attack on secularism. Another petitioner sought removal of objectionable scenes prior to the release saying they are aimed at maligning the reputation of a top brass politician.

'31st October' is scheduled to release on October 21st. The candlelight march will garner it people's attention and give scope for a serious debate.
