"I am a huge supporter of #MeToo movement but this is not the right platform as our film is as important as the movement. I have known Raj Kumar Hirani for many years and I respect him as a filmmaker and as a man. I think we all should reserve the judgment and be responsible before we say something on this subject." Added Sonam.

"I always believe a woman but, if it is not true, then the movement will be sidetracked. Especially, if it is somebody like Raju Hirani," claimed Sonam. Stars like Dia Mirza, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi, Boney Kapoor, and Javed Akhtar also supported Rajkumar Hirani.
