South Indian Legend Mani Ratnam Is Hospitalised!!

Mani Ratnam from 2004 is complaining about cardiac problems and he first got an attack while working on Yuva. He is shifted to hospital swiftly and was saved then.

He again got a stroke in 2015, while he is shooting OK Kanmani/ OK Bangaram. In 2018, he did develop a slight complication and the director got admitted to hospital for a simple check up.

On 16th June, he complained about respiratory problems and doctors confirmed that it is a cardiac attack. The family immediately shifted him to Apollo Hospital and he is getting treatment.

The director is stable and group of doctors are monitoring his condition from late night. The family announced that they need isolation and will definitely update his fans about his health as the doctors give them another bulletin.

He is a legendary director from Tamil Cinema who could make classics like Dil Se, Yuva, Kannathil Mutthamittal/Amrutha, Bombay, Alaipayuthey/Sakhi, Roja, Nayakan, Geethanjali, Dalapathi, Iddaru/Iruvar, Dhruva Natchathiram/Gharshana and Mouna Ragam that helped him attain Pan-India fame.

He did make Dil Se, Yuva, Guru, Ravanan in Hindi too. His recent hits OK Kanmani, Chekka Cheventha Vaanam did show that he is still relevant in Indian Cinema after 35 years of his debut.

He is planning the biggest film of his career, Ponniyan Selvan with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and legion of stars from Indian Cinema. Reliance Entertainment came forward to produce it.
