There was a time when Sreenu Vaitla's name was synonymous to success. He gave some highly entertaining films like 'Venky', 'Dubai Seenu', 'King', 'Dhee', 'Ready' and the comedy scenes from these movies get a lot of views even now. The star director made a flop movie with Mahesh Babu titled 'Aagadu' and it went all downhill from then.
All his films in the recent past like 'Bruce Lee', 'Amar Akbar Anthony' and 'Mister' ended up as disasters which affected Vaitla's career badly. After a brief gap, he announced his next project with Manchu Vishnu. The film is named 'D&D' with the caption 'Double Dose'. Pragya Jaiswal is expected to be the heroine and the shooting is expected to kickstart soon.
In the meanwhile, Vaitla reportedly penned two new stories and one of them is a multi-starrer. It will have two star heroes and it is tentatively titled 'Doubles'. While it is not officially confirmed, sources reveal that he will make another film in-between 'D&D' and 'Doubles'. Let us wait till we get more information.
Speaking about 'D&D', Sreenu Vaitla claims that it is not a sequel to 'Dhee' but it will have a lot of entertainment too. He dismissed the rumors about a possible sequel for 'Dookudu' but claimed that he will come up with a stronger story for Mahesh Babu.
