Sri Devi clarifies on her daughter Jhanvi's marriage!

Actress Sri Devi is busy promoting her next release MOM all over the country. She acquired National Fame after starting out in Tamil and Telugu, simultaneously way back in 1977. She acted with all top stars and legends of South Cinema and by 1987, she became the glamour queen of Indian Cinema with Mr. India. She married Boney Kapoor and stopped acting in films after 1995 and mad a comeback with English Vinglish in 2013.

Now, she is ready with her MOM, a thriller about the plight of a mother in search for her daughter. A. R. Rahman composed music for this movie and it is scheduled for a release of 7th of July. Ravi Udyawar is the director of the movie. As part of the promotions, she talked to media channels in Hyderabad and listening to her talk in Telugu after so many years pleased her fans in us too. During the interview she answered to personal questions as well and clarified that she did not say that she would like to see her daughter Jhanvi get married immediately. Rather she said, she likes to see her married to a nice guy one day and before that she wants her to be independent and work as well.

About the opportunities that Jhanvi is receiving from South and Hindi industry, Sri Devi said, "It is better for producers to announce them rather than me talking about them." She also exclaimed that her second daughter in indeed taller than her first daughter and that's a point of funny comparison between the two she said. Sri Devi revealed that her daughters take more care about her looks than her. "Whenever I eat slightly more than I should, my daughters stop me without any second thought," she exclaimed. While talking about her daughters and family life, Sri Devi looked highly relaxed and she further shared many things.  

"I love to speak in Telugu with all my cousins and per day a minimum of twelve to thirteen calls are mandatory between us. Whenever I'm talking to my sisters in Telugu, my husband Boney Kapoor sits besides me and listens to me speaking in Telugu with amusement. He always calls me "Emma" in Telugu. My daughters don't speak fluently in Telugu but they will slowly learn," shared Sri Devi with her charismatic twinkle in her eyes.
