Still A Lot Of Release Troubles For 'Avatar 2'!

Update: 2022-12-12 12:32 GMT
There are only four days left for the release of 'Avatar: The Way Of Water'. This gigantic motion picture is going to arrive in cinemas on December 16th and everyone is ready to witness a visual extravaganza from James Cameron. The expectations this film is carrying is a lot higher than any film ever watched. Also, no other movie has been released worldwide on such a grand scale. The entire week has been left alone for 'Avatar: The Way Of Water' in order to have a free run at the box office.

There are no notable releases in any language and crores of movie lovers are eagerly waiting for this film. Every one of them is staring at their phones in order to book the tickets in advance as soon as possible. But the tickets have not been released completely. In fact, a few theatres opened bookings across the nation three weeks back for 'Avatar 2' and they were completely purchased. But theatres in a lot of areas including the Telugu states are not being seen in booking websites and the differences between distributors and exhibitors is reportedly the main reason for it.

According to reports, things are not yet clear on how the money will be distributed. Disney is releasing the film in India and theatre owners reportedly were okay to give 30% of revenue from single screens and 40% of revenue from multiplexes to the distributors. But the latter asked 50% and 60% of the revenue from single screens and multiplexes respectively. The discussions have been going on for the past couple of days and people are hoping that they would be solved as soon as possible.
