Stepping out of the comfort zone is certainly not something very easy. It needs a lot of guts and confidence to take a road less traveled. It is also equally difficult to neglect the negativity around us when we are on a mission to achieve something that no one has cracked ever in the past. Director Vamsi Paidipally is someone who took the road less traveled when everyone around him except his mother failed to invest their trust in him. Letting go off a stable software job and running to chase the dreams of becoming a filmmaker is certainly not an easy task. But, Vamsi followed his heart.

Having made his debut with the film Munna, things did not turn gold for the director as he needs to prove himself every single time with a hit. After scoring a hit with Oopiri, his destiny asked him to make Maharshi but it did not happen just like that. Though he scored a hit with Oopiri, he had to wait three years to see his name on the big screen again. He waited two years for Mahesh Babu and then it all happened in the span of three years. The three years travel with a script called Maharshi literally drained out all his energy. But, he did not lose confidence so easily. He hid all his emotions and pain only to make his film see the light.

Success is not a destination but it is a journey. The line that Mahesh mouthed in the movie for multiple times can be easily attributed to the director. After his film seeing the light, it opened to a blockbuster talk. Nothing else in the world would have given happiness to the director than this. All his hard work got paid off. Sharing his happiness at the success meet, the director made an emotional speech that moved everyone.

''No one invested trust in me when I left my software job. But, my mom supported me. My mother is the only reason for me standing right here. After Maharshi's release, my mom hugged me and had tears in eyes. I can not ask for a bigger victory. I thank my mother for bringing me up like that.'' said the director who also recollected some of his old memories.

''Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari is a film that I can never forget. I am glad that Maharshi also released on the same date. Dil Raju garu gave me birth as a director. Sirish and Lakshman are also a part of my family. I can never forget PVP's words on the day before the release. I watched the movie at his home in the home theatre. He complimented me saying that I delivered a classic. We did not pose any questions to the system but only gave possible solutions for the existing problems faced by the farmers.'' said Vamsi Paidipally.

His speech opened to a lot of positive feedback from everyone.
