Kannda actor Sudeep who is known for her roles in Eega and Baahubali has applied for divorce in the family court in Bengaluru,on Friday. Sudeepa and his wife Priya filed for divorce with a mutual consent. The couple has been married for 14 years.
Sudeep married Priya, a native from Kerala, in 2001 and the couple have an 11-year old daughter named Saanvi. As their daughter is minor the judiciary as agreed to handover daughter to wife Priya. Sudeep sister filed the petition to the court on his behalf. It is believed that Sudeep has agreed to pay Rs. 19 crore compensation to Priya.
