But Sudheer Varma is able to counter his critics with his making style. Surprisingly, he has accepted the shots which he has copied from others. He says that there is no difference between copy and inspiration. He went on to direct 'Dohchay' with Naga Chaitanya later.
Keep aside the business of 'Dohchay', but there was a controversy on the film that the movie is copied from a short film titled 'Nau Do Gyarah'. Sudheer Varma gave his clarification on these allegations. He said that "I didn't even heard the name of 'Nau Do Gyarah'. I have got inspiration from BBC TV sereis 'Hustle'. Many people might not even heard the name of the show. 'Dohchay' has nothing to do with 'Nau Do Gyarah'.
While speaking about the copy allegation on 'Keshava', he said that "There are rumours that 'Keshava' is inspired from 'Crank'. I made 'Keshava' taking inspiration from several Hollywood films. But there will be no similarities between 'Crank' and 'Keshava'."
While speaking more about 'Keshava' he said "You didn't see my standard of filmmaking till now. I will surely do my style of films in future. 'Keshava' will remain as good film in his career. Cinematography and background score are specials in the film. Duration of the film is 1.56 minutes. Every will give a good thrill".
