Sukumar's Snail Pace Worrying Everyone!

Update: 2022-07-18 06:36 GMT
Star writer-director Sukumar is not your regular filmmaker. He is a cut above the rest whether it is his vision or screenplay or taking. He comes up a lot of out-of-the-box ideas which shocks the audience. Though some of his movies may not perform well commercially, they ended up being classics over time. No one in Tollywood would have envisioned a psychological drama like '1 Nenokkadine' with a star like Mahesh Babu except Sukumar. It is Sukumar who made a stylish star like Allu Arjun appear in a rugged, rustic and deglamorized avatar for 'Pushpa'. His unique love stories like 'Arya', 'Arya 2' and '100% Love' have a separate fanbase.

He never rushes into making movies and takes his own sweet time. But his long break is worrying everyone now. As we all know, 'Pushpa: The Rise' turned out to be a massive blockbuster all across the nation. It went into the rural areas of North India too and the dialogues and mannerisms in the film came into regular usage. Everyone are eager to see what Sukumar and Bunny come up with in 'Pushpa: The Rule'. The first part came out in December but the shooting of the second part is yet to begin. It has already been seven months and Sukumar is still working on the script. He is fine-tuning it for a long time and people are getting restless now.

It is not just 'Pushpa' but there is no update regarding his next project with Vijay Deverakonda. It was announced long back but the star director is yet to start 'Pushpa: The Rule'. In the meanwhile, Vijay completed 'Liger', started 'Khushi' as well as 'Jana Gana Mana'.

He also produced '18 Pages' with Nikhil Siddhartha in association with 'GA2 Pictures'. There is no clarity regarding this project as it was ready for long back. It is getting pushed back for some unknown reason. He is also bankrolling a movie along with Dil Raju. Ashish Reddy who made his entry with 'Rowdy Boys' is the hero and there are no updates about this movie too. All the projects with which Sukumar is linked are in a lot of uncertainty. What will the 'Rangasthalam' maker do now?
