An audition that changed his "Prasthanam"

Sundeep Kishan has become a famous upcoming actor in Telugu Cinema purely by his talent even though he has a famous Cameraman like Chota K. Naidu as his backbone. He is looking to make a mark as an actor and even though his recent films flopped, he has a name as a good actor, all thanks to his performance in Prasthanam.

The movie changed his path from a struggling actor to an upcoming talent and Venkatadri Express made him a successful hero. The actor is coming with his new movie, C/O Surya along with Mehreen Prizada Kaur as lead actress. He discussed in one of the interviews how he got a chance in Prasthanam. He revealed that he had to go back to Vizag after a director cheated him. Young Sandeep came to Hyderabad hoping that he got a break but the director did not show up or start the film, hence he cried on that occasion.

Then the actor shared how he decided to make it big in Hyderabad and Film Industry. "I wanted to prove myself on my own and decided to come to Hyderabad. I stayed with a friend at a room. I got Sneha Geetham movie as many first chance but the production stopped after three days of shoot. I stayed free at room for two months and one day, Sharwanand's sister called me to tell my friend about the role negative role in Prasthanam. I told him and he scolded me for offering him a role that I wouldn't do. He express doubts over the character. When I conveyed the same Sharwanand's sister advised me to do it and I went for the audition. At the audition, Deva Katta looked at me and said, I may not suit the character as I'm too young but asked me to audition anyway. He liked what I did and said, only I suited the character. That's how I got the chance," shared the actor.
